    Systems Integration SupportLocation: Chantilly, VA

    Job Description: Systems Integrator is responsible for bringing together discrete systems while maintaining the integrity and functionality of the component systems. Functions include, but are not limited to, defining requirements architecture and interfaces, verifying internal and external interfaces, planning, implementing, testing and maintaining systems solutions, and supporting risk management. SystemsIntegrators provide a total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of components, end-to-end project management support of the life cycle, and recommendations and evaluations on systems strategies. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The Contractor shall provide systems integration support for the Sponsor component(s), to include integrated portfolio support of projects, programs and technologies; developing and maintaining project and data management plans for the Sponsor's overall IT system(s); and integrating data feeds into the IT system from a variety of source systems on multiple networks (i.e., commercial and government data feeds at a variety of classification levels). The Contractor shall assist the Sponsor in managing new and existing programs, segments, or phases; and shall support the Sponsor in assessing technical plans, guiding implementation activities, and defining program phases, sequencing, and required deliverables for the Sponsor's systems. The Contractor shall support the Sponsor in the creation of proofs-of-concept for practical, maintainable, and reliable solutions for Sponsor projects, and shall perform trade-off studies as needed. The Contractor shall provide consultation for the engineering, integration, and deployment of proofs-of-concept, and shall support the completion of accreditation documentation, testing, and coordination, to include functional, system, and security test plans for all releases and ensuring IT system compliance with Federal and IC standards and directives.
    • The Contractor shall support the integration of tools and/or IC systems, to include disaster recovery and backup, geospatial tools, Cross Domain solutions, data management, and end-to-end performance evaluation. The Contractor shall provide testing and modeling support in technology areas as defined by the Sponsor, and shall develop and codify methods to improve the integration of Sponsor projects. The Contractor shall coordinate the migration of accessible technologies across multiple organizations, and support the integration of assistive technologies into an enterprise environment.
    • The Contractor shall support technology transition, to include identifying technologies currently used within the infrastructure that are transitioning between technology life-cycle phases, and shall support the Sponsor component in assessing new and emerging technology. The Contractor shall provide recommendations on the next technology phase and engineering analysis of infrastructure architecture objectives impacted by emerging technologies, and shall assist the Sponsor in identifying and defining the scope of duplicate applications, tools, and databases across components, and in developing requirements for improvement or replacement.

    DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    Required Qualifications:Subcontractor personnel at all skill levels shall have the following education, experience, and skills:
    • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
    • Ability to fully coordinate project schedules
    • Ability to assist in the preparation of management plans and reports
    o Ability to maintain correspondence suspense files, records, files for reports, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and compose correspondence
    o Ability to compose technical documents including user's manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
    • Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collecting, compiling, evaluating and publishing of information and statistical data

    Desired Qualifications:
    Subcontractor personnel at all skill levels may have the following desired experience and skills:
    • Ability to test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems
    • Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system

    • Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientist and top-level managers in the design, testing, and evaluation of systems

    Work Requirements:
     Candidate must be able to obtain government security clearance. Job Description: The selected candidate will provide imagery science support specifically related to the exploitation of imagery in one of the following sensor disciplines: radar, infrared, spectral, or geospatial (to include photogrammetry and LiDAR); to assist the government/contractor team in optimizing the collection and exploitation of varied imagery data types, especially those categorized as AGI. The image scientist will collaborate with and provide scientific analysis support to imagery/geospatial analysts, who will leverage the value-added support to sharpen their assessments of current intelligence issues. The image scientist duties also include applying AGI techniques and capabilities to mission issues, as well as investigating innovative and emerging technologies to incorporate into analysis. The evaluation of commercial, academic, and outside approaches and algorithms, refinement, development of measures of effectiveness, improvements to system environments, and creation of new procedures will be commonplace. Formal and informal written reports and briefings will be necessary to capture plans, schedules, status updates and results. 
    Typical Education & Experience:
     Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience 
    Required Skills And Education: 
    A minimum of 20 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in image science, remote sensing, earth science, physical science, engineering, or similar engineering/science field or . Scientist candidates must have experience in applied image processing and scientific analysis of imagery (SAR, IR, Spectral, Lidar, photogrammetry), knowledge of image formation, and associated discipline phenomenology. Additional experience required includes scientifically processing imagery (SAR, IR, Spectral, Lidar) from Civil and Commercial imaging systems, proficiency with techniques, algorithms, and scientific analysis of associated discipline data processing using RSI ENVI. Experience with GOTS applications such as FSTK and AGITK is a plus. Scientists must possess the ability to communicate effectively in writing and oral presentations, complete task in a timely manner with minimal supervision, and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member. 

    Preferred Skills And Education:
     Proficiency using ITT ENVI COTS image processing software, ERADAS IMAGINE, MS Office, Windows, and knowledge of programming languages such as IDL, R, Python. Familiarity with commercial and civil data sources, integration of resulting data into ArcGIS. Knowledge of Marine Corps TTPs pertaining to littoral operating environment, and Marine Corps mission sets

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • The MSA will manage Visitor Requests to ensure all visitors expected at our "stand alone" location meet security requirements. Activity may vary from 1-30 requests daily; MSA will compose and update Instruction manuals for various processes utilized by Sponsor; MSA will also oversee conference rooms (including video conferencing locations) to include complete reservation requests from various Sponsor staff personnel at multiple locations.
    • Sponsor relies heavily on proprietary database systems which requires MSA to initialize access requests, tracking from start to finish; The MSA is solely responsible for tracking, ordering and ensuring delivery of supplies and equipment for three separate buildings.
    • The MSA will manage onboarding and exit procedures for new employees which varies according to arrival/departures office of assignment. This includes access requests, IDs and IT accesses. 
    • The MSA will benefit greatly from establishing a network in the area of IT, Logistics and Facilities due to day to operations and both scheduled and unscheduled needs. 
    • The MSA is the primary focal point for Sponsor's executive location which supports four different service lines. Personnel will rely heavily upon MSA's guidance on questions and inquiries of a varied nature. 
    • The MSA will order specialize/unique materials for customer as needed. 
    • The MSA will back up Sponsor receptionist as needed to include answering phones and entrance/departure processes. The MSA will also serve as back up to other MSAs within Sponsor facilities as needed (Vacation, training ,illness, etc.) 
    • The MSA will compose information to keep Sponsor personnel aware of time critical situations, practices and policies. The MSA will disseminate packages and materials to the appropriate personnel. 
    • The MSA will escort visitors and guests on a regular base to include facility repair and maintenance personnel. 
    • The MSA will maintain and occasionally edit core standard procedure manuals and update central spreadsheets such as seating charts, and general administrative information sheets.
