Title: Security Engineer 

Location: Washington DC 

Job Description: Provide program Information Assurance (IA) security support to a network managed service provider. Analyze the development of Information Assurance (IA) plans for a rapid growth containerized PaaS for a DoD customer. Lead the transition from existing IA plans and posture and the formulation of system security plans. Perform technical and administrative IA ICD 503 assessments. Write detailed assessment reports independently to government and support contractors. Analyze and implement continuous monitoring plans.

Basic Qualifications:

· 14 + years of experience with IA technology
· Minimum years of experience: 14 years of relevant work experience with high school diploma or GED; or 12 years of relevant work experience with Associates degree; or 10 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Art; or 8 years of relevant work experience with a Masters of Science or Masters of Arts; or 6 years of relevant work experience with a PhD degree.
· Must have at least seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in the Design, Development, Assessment, or Operations and Maintenance of cross vendor Platform capabilities, to include experience in Infrastructure and Platform as a Service, or posses a relevant certification plus five (5) years experience.
· 7+ years of experience in IT projects and systems with associated SLAs
· Must have at least seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in the Design, Development, Assessment, or Operations and Maintenance of cross vendor Platform capabilities, to include experience in Infrastructure and Platform as a Service, or posses a relevant certification plus five (5) years experience.
· Security+ Computing Environment (CE) Certification
· Docker container / microservice architecture experience
· Experience with security associated tools, including XACTA
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
· Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Additional Qualifications:
· Experience with the Intelligence Community (IC)
· Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
· Experience with information assurance, risk management, and network managed service providers
· IASE II baseline certification, CASP CE, CISSP , CAP, CISM, or CSSLP?
· Global IA Certification (GIAC) or Security Essentials Certificate (GSEC) Certification
· 3+ years of experience with a Web design framework, including Bootstrap, Materialize, or equivalent alternatives
· Experience in working with Java technologies, including Java Servlet Pages (JSPs), Spring framework, Spring MVC, or Spring Boot
· Knowledge of analyzing static code and supporting the remediation of findings from code scans
· Knowledge of database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
· Knowledge of DoD software development practices
· Knowledge of static code analysis capabilities
· Knowledge of DoD information assurance and security policies
· Knowledge of the DoD commercial Cloud hosting policy
